Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa – Cat Cat Village
- 06:30 - 07:00 am - Pick up from your hotel or at the meeting point and then depart to Sapa, following Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway. Along the way, you will have the chance to contemplate the beauty of northwest mountains with terraced fields sparkling in the sunlight.
- Have a short break for 30 minutes, then continue the trip to Sapa.
- 01:00 pm - Arrive in Sapa, check in hotel and have lunch.
- In the afternoon, start trekking to Cat Cat village, about a 45-minute walk from Sapa. It is the village of the Black H’mong hill tribe. Experience the tribal way of life while enjoying beautiful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village.
- Make your way to Cat Cat waterfall, learning the culture, and unique customs of the people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, and forged agricultural tools. Coming here, you can see the hydroelectric power station built by the French in the twentieth century.
- Come back to the hotel.
- In the evening, after dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night. Enjoy roasted corn, and baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van
- 08:00 am - After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Leave the hotel and start trekking. The first part is on the road, but soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong – Lao Chai Village. Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area, and they have their own language and wear traditional indigo blue clothing.
- Have lunch at Lao Chai Village.
- Continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit the Zay people. Zay is a relatively small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. You may find many women wearing traditional shirts with purple, blue or green colour. The Zay houses are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor.
Stay overnight with a local family in Ta Van and have dinner.

Day 3: Giang Ta Chai villages – Sapa – Hanoi
- Enjoy breakfast at the homestay for an early start.
- Start the day with a trek of 5 km to visit villages of the H’mong. The trekking will take you along local paths, up and down rice terraces and into the villages and homes of local hill tribes. Enjoy a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge with picturesque landscapes through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa.
- 2:00 pm - Transfer by bus from Ta Van village to Sapa Town. Enjoy your free time in Sapa for refreshment.
- 3:00 pm - Go on a short drive to Sapa town, where the staff prepares a takeaway sandwich for your journey to Hanoi.
- 09:30 pm - Arrive in Ha Noi.
