Itinerary

1. Day 1: Hanoi - Da River - Mai Chau

   • Head to Mai Châu valley from Hanoi via bus. Due to its proximity to the capital, it makes it an ideal overnight escape.

   • Explore Muong Minority Markets and Villages on peaceful country roads.
   • Sightsee the heavenly views of Vietnam’s largest lake.
   • Have Muong Ethnic Minority lunch at a beautiful lakeside restaurant and see the waterfall.
   • Enjoy fantastic food & hospitality at the White Thai ethnic minority village in Mai Chau.

2. Day 2: Mai Chau - Pom Coong- Lac - Hanoi

   • Soak in the peaceful natural scenery and experience the life of the friendly locals at the Pom Coong Village. Tourists come to this village with stilt-houses and observe the daily activities and the beauty of cultural life. A journey to Pom Coong Village offers an excellent opportunity to explore the outstanding natural beauty and cultural richness of Mai Chau, the gateway to the impressive Northwestern area of Vietnam.
   • Visit the Lac Village, a green valley of paddy fields dotted with rows of stilt houses. Instead of a bustling place or pompous splendour, Lac Village converges all rustic, natural, and friendly characteristics that tourists once setting foot in could hardly stop thinking. It is home to White Thai people's culture with five clans, namely Ha, Lo, Vi, Mac, and Loc. The village has been of 700 years in existence so far.
