Olive Tree, Wine Tasting, and Chania Discovery
- Visit the world's oldest olive tree. Your first stop is this remarkable tree, which is over 3000 years old and has a trunk circumference of 12.5 metres and a diameter of 4.6 metres. Αnoskeli Winery & Oil is located in a small village and has its own premises, including an olive oil facility and a winery producing several varieties of fine local wine.
- After a fully guided tour of the modern tasting-exhibition hall, you will have the opportunity to taste extra virgin bio-olive oil, five different wines, and tsikoudia (raki), accompanied by Cretan snacks. Continue to Chania City, one of Crete's most beautiful cities, and arguably one of the most beautiful in Greece. The city has preserved its traditional architecture and monuments from Venetian and Ottoman times. Its Venetian harbour, lighthouse, and old town have given Chania the reputation of being the most picturesque city in Crete, welcoming many enthusiastic visitors each year.
