2-Day North Eastern Armenia Tour from Yerevan with Lakes and Monasteries

Meet your Armenian tour guide at your hotel in the morning and drive to Garni Hellenic Temple.

On the way to Garni, stop at Charents Arch, one of the most suitable places for one of the best views of Mt. Ararat.

Visit Garni Temple, the only standing structure from the pre-Christian period in the former Soviet Union.

The next stop of the tour is Sevan Lake, the biggest lake in the Caucasus. It never loses its charm throughout the year and is regarded as the pride of the Armenian people.

Visit Sevanavank Medieval Monastery, situated on a narrow peninsula of the lake.

The last stop of the day is Tsaghkadzor, where you arrive in the evening and settle into the hotel.

Meet at the hotel just after breakfast and visit Kecharis Monastery, located in the central part of the town. Then take a ropeway ride and admire the picturesque views over the forests. If you take all five stations, you will reach 2819 m above sea level and enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the surroundings. The next stop is Dilijan, perhaps the most popular resort centre in Armenia.

After getting acquainted with the old town, visit Haghartsin Monastery from the medieval period, located deep in the forest. The road leading up to Haghartsin Monastery looks like a scene from a fairy tale because of its folksy wild setting and rural location.

Head to Parz Lake near Dilijan. This small lake reflects all the beauty of the forests on its surface, and one can truly feel like part of a grand old dreamscape. You can also take a zip line above the lake.
