Day 01

Louvre Masterpieces and Royal Treasures

• Meet your tour guide near the statue of Louis XIV ("Sun King"), in front of the Pyramid of the Louvre. Pick-up at the hotel is also possible.
• Skip the line and head inside to visit the oldest room of the Louvre - the Donjon from the Middle Ages.
• Continue through the Renaissance and Antiquities halls and the Queens' Rooms, and admire the Venus de Milo, the Victory of Samothrace, stunning frescoes by Botticelli, and masterpieces by other Italian artists, including the genius Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci.
• Listen to your Paris tour guide as they share insights into the birth of French Romanticism through the large-scale chef-d'oeuvres of Gericault and Delacroix.
• Further on, you will penetrate the mystery of Michelangelo's very sensual "Slaves" sculptures.

• Any public transportation fees needed to get to the Louvre

• Entrance skip-the-line tickets: 19€ per person (provided by the guide and to be reimbursed before entering the museum)

• It is possible to use a museum pass if you already have one, but you will not skip the line with it. Between May and September, the guide recommends not using the museum pass because the waiting line will be very long.

• If the group consists of more than 7 people, it is necessary to book the visit for a certain time slot.

• Entrance is free for children under 18. Teenagers will have to show their ID to members of staff to prove that they are under 18.
