- Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a masterpiece of Early Middle age architecture, thought to be the holiest place in Georgia. It is currently the second-largest church building in Georgia, after the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
- Drive up to Jvari monastery, built in the 6th century. The viewpoint opens a charming view of the entire city and the confluence of Mtkvari and Aragvi.
