Meet your tour guide and start your hike through the beautiful Kokořín Valley, a landscape of sandstone blocks and towers rising from spectacular rock towns. Explore gorges, rock caverns and overhangs, romantic forest pools with water lilies, and picturesque timbered houses. Kokořínský Důl is one of the most picturesque valleys in the Czech Republic, where numerous canyons meet and create distinctive sandstone formations. This hiking tour covers 15 km, offers an excellent overview of the Kokořín Valley region not far from Prague, and takes around 5 hours to complete.
The hike also takes in the amazing rock formations and mushroom-shaped pillars of Pokličky. Travel through the forest and connect deeply with the energy of the landscape.
Enjoy lunch with a main course and a drink at a traditional restaurant, and relish some of the best local beers.

What's Not Included

While you need no special hiking clothing or equipment, it is recommended that you bring sunscreen and a hat for sunny weather, or a rain jacket for wet weather. Additionally, pack an extra layer if it is chilly.

What to bring

The most important thing is to wear comfortable hiking boots or sports shoes suitable for a forest walk. The ground can be uneven, and high heels are absolutely a no-go for this trip.

At the moment, the choice of vegetarian/vegan food in the Czech countryside is limited. However, there are some vegetarian meal options, such as grilled cheese, grilled vegetables, fried potatoes, and risotto.
