Dajti National Park, Albania, also known as Tirana's natural balcony, is located 26 km east of Tirana. It lies 50 km from Rinas International Airport at an elevation of 1,612 meters above sea level. In winter, the mountain is often covered with snow, making it a popular retreat for the local population of Tirana, who rarely see snowfall. Its slopes are covered with forests of pine and beech. Dajti National Park commands a spectacular view of the capital and spreads across 3,300 hectares on the Dajti Plain, the main gathering point for visitors to Dajti.
