Langkawi Cable Car, Batik Art Village, Cenang Street and Eagle Square
Begin the tour at 9:00 am with a meet-up at the port with your Malaysian driver-guide.
Head to the Langkawi Cable Car, one of the most famous attractions in Langkawi. This cable car experience includes SkyCab, SkyDome, SkyRex, and 3D Art Langkawi.
Reach the top station of Gunung Machinchang and enjoy amazing island views from two viewing platforms. Langkawi Cable Car - Panorama Langkawi is located on the southwest coast of Langkawi Island. The cable car ride takes you up to about 708 metres above sea level. This journey covers a total distance of 2.2 km, linking the base station at the foothill of Machinchang Mountain to the top station at the mountain summit and the Sky Bridge. The Langkawi Cable Car has three stations, and the base station is located in the Oriental Village at about sea level.
Continue to Atma Alam Batik Art Village and witness the traditional batik printing process using wax and dye. You will also have the chance to buy silk hand-pulled cloth and local handicrafts. Atma Alam Batik Art Village is a centre specially designed to attract tourists and promote the art of batik in Langkawi.
Travel to Cenang Street with your local tour guide. Along Cenang Street, explore the beachside, enjoy some duty-free shopping, and find Underwater World, one of the largest marine and freshwater aquaria in South East Asia. Marvel at Pantai Cenang Street, the busiest beach town on Langkawi Island, where you will find a diverse mix of cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and duty-free outlets along its picturesque beach strip.
Proceed to Eagle Square, also known as Dataran Lang, and see a 39-foot-high eagle statue poised to take flight.
Explore Kuah Town in the southeast of the main island. It is a place with much less traffic than beaches such as Pantai Kok or Pantai Cenang. Most importantly, it is a great place to shop for many things.
Leave Kuah Town, and end the tour with a drop-off at the port.
