Explore Martinique's Highlights

  • Meet your tour guide at your preferred location in Fort-de-France.
  • Drive along the Caribbean coastal road to the Neisson Rum Distillery in Le Carbet. This family-owned distillery has operated since 1931 and has preserved the tradition of Martinique's rum-making. Enjoy a tasting and the opportunity to purchase a bottle of the rum of your choice.
  • Proceed to Carbet Beach, a wide beach with a calm sea, transparent waters, and black sand. Relax while looking out at the sea and Mount Pelée, or refresh yourself with a swim.
  • Explore the ruins of Saint Pierre, destroyed by the volcano. Admire the scenery and the majestic Mount Pelée as you pass by.
  • Reach the foot of the volcano, where Saint Pierre, the "Little Paris of the Antilles," is located.
  • Make your way to Gendarme Waterfalls. Take a short hike to reach the waterfall and be charmed by the tropical forest and its clear waters.
  • Proceed to the lush tropical rainforests around the Alma River.
  • Visit the Sacred Heart Church, also known as Balata Church. Built in 1924, this church is a replica of Sacre Coeur de Montmartre in Paris. It is said to have been built to gather Catholics in the growing Fort-de-France after the 1902 eruption of Mount Pelée destroyed Martinique's capital, Saint Pierre. The church is also dedicated to the memory of those who died in World War I.
  • End your tour with drop-off at your preferred location.
