• Saghmosavank Monastery and the Qasakh river canyon. One of the most beautiful churches in Armenia, it is located in Aragatsotn province. The monastery is situated atop the abrupt gorge carved by the Qasakh river. This canyon is also known as the Armenian Grand Canyon.

• Armenian Alphabet Monument, dedicated to the 1600th anniversary of its creation.

• Amberd Fortress, dating back to the 10th century and located 2300 m above sea level.

• Mount Aragats and Stone Lake. Aragats is the highest point in Armenia, standing 4090 m above sea level.
