Ice Kart Racing Adventure at Ounaspaviljonki

Meet your Rovaniemi tour guide at the tour office.
Transfer to Ounaspaviljonki Ice Adventure Resort, where you can take part in races on specially designed ice kart tracks.
- Racing session 1: 10-minute qualifying round

If children cannot reach the pedals of the kart, they can opt for mini snowmobiles for ages 6 to 10. The mini snowmobiles are operated on a safe 100 m track, and children drive under the guide's non-stop supervision.

Know before you go

The track is private and 500-550 m long, with high-speed straights and tight corners for drifting. There are plenty of spots for overtaking. When the track was built, special care was taken with the sharp corners and faster straights. Snow walls are made to protect against damage and injuries if a kart ends up outside the track. Spectators have limited access to the track and observe from a safe distance. The track is designed to optimize the driving experience for customers.
The ice karts are powerful winter go-karts with silent four-stroke engines and studded winter tires with spikes. High-quality German-made karts, RIMO EVO6 and RIMO ALPHA2, with four-stroke HONDA engines, are used to ensure the best quality for customers. Every year, the ice track is rebuilt and improvements are made.
Please be at the tour office 20 minutes before the starting time.
The meeting time for the safaris is always before the safari starting time. The safari begins when the group is clothed and ready to go. The rest of the group will not be kept waiting for customers arriving late. If you arrive late, you risk losing the safari with no refund.
The minimum height for driving the kart is 140 cm, and it is suitable for children aged at least 9 years.
The tour provider reserves the right to change the price, program, inclusions, and duration of the tour due to weather conditions and unexpected occurrences.
Throughout the years, the track has been perfected, and the lap timing has been optimized. Every kart is fitted with a transponder to provide a real-time reading of lap times.
