Materuni Watefalls & Coffee Plantation
- Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location in Moshi or Arusha and begin your drive up the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Hike 2 kilometres from Materuni to the local waterfalls. On the way, cross small water streams and waterfalls and spot various exotic plants such as coffee and banana trees as well as different fruits, birds and animals. Also, learn about the lifestyles of the locals of Materuni.
Relax at the waterfalls as you take photos and swim in its cool waters.
Make your way to a coffee plantation and see how coffee is grown and processed. Then, roast your own coffee beans and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with your packed lunch.
Shop at the local souvenir shop for handmade crafts and local coffee before heading back to Moshi or Arusha.
