Full-Day Safari in Tarangire National Park
- Depart from Arusha early in the morning and drive straight to Tarangire National Park. The park's landscape is dotted with colossal termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. It has a year-round water supply, which is why it is so rich in wildlife. Bird lovers will not be disappointed, as the park hosts over 550 bird species, including the world's largest bird, the Maasai ostrich.
- Enjoy an exquisite view from the open roof of your jeep and keep your camera ready for giraffes, warthogs, impalas, cheetahs, mongooses, buffalo, and baboons. Then look up at tree level to spot one of the famous climbing leopards of Tarangire.
- Look out for herds of elephants of all ages led by a matriarch. You might also spot a majestic bull elephant travelling alone.
- After a stop for a tasty lunch in the picturesque landscape, spend the afternoon exploring the national park. In the evening, your Tanzanian guide will drive you back to Arusha.
