Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Dambulla
Upon arrival at the airport, receive a warm welcome from your Sri Lankan tour guide.
Start your journey by transferring to Dambulla.

Day 2: Dambulla - Sigiriya - Kandy
Have breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress (World Heritage Site).
Head on to Kandy, but make a few stops at Matale to visit a spice garden, wood carving factory and a batik factory.
Drive around the Bogambara (Kandy) lake, upper lake, and the busy streets.
Visit the Gem Museum and witness a Cultural Show featuring various dance forms and end with a fire-walking performance.
Proceed to “Dalada Maligawa” or Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to witness the prayer ceremony. Here, you can see the outer most casket of seven which enshrines the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha.
Check-in to the hotel and relax in the evening.

Day 3: Kandy - Peradeniya - Pinnawela
Proceed to Peradeniya after having breakfast.
Explore the Royal Botanical Gardens, spread across 147 acres of land. The garden includes more than 4000 plants from all over the world, extensive well-kept lawns and pavilions. The Cannonball Tree (planted by King George V and Queen Mary of the United Kingdom in 1901), the Giant Java Fig Tree, and the Orchid House are major garden tourist attractions.
Proceed to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, which has the world's largest captive herd of elephants. It is a beautiful sight to see these elephants being given a bath by the caretakers of the orphanage in the nearby river.
On completion of the tour, you will be transferred to any location in Sri Lanka.
