Day 01

Terracotta Army, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi'an City Wall

Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel in the morning and set out on your tour.
Make your way to the site of the Terracotta Army. Dating back to 200 BCE, these terracotta sculptures depict the army of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. They were placed in his tomb to protect the emperor in his afterlife.
Explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a Tang Dynasty structure dating back to the 7th century CE. It was built to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveller Xuanzang.
Admire the Xi'an Ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved and largest city walls in China, built for military defence during the Ming Dynasty.
Conclude your tour with a drop-off at your hotel.
