Start the day with your Yangon tour guide, and visit the reclining Buddha Chaukhtatkyi, a well-known Buddhist temple in Yangon. It houses one of the most revered reclining Buddha images in the country. The Buddha image is 65 meters long and one of the largest in Myanmar.
Kandawgyi Park, Yangon (Rangoon) Myanmar, 1 hour
The next stop is the beautiful Kandawgyi Lake (formerly known as Royal Lake), one of Yangon's two major lakes. It was created to provide a clean water supply to the city during the British colonial administration. Along the eastern shorelines of the lake, you can see the Karaweik Hall, a concrete replica of a Burmese royal barge built in 1972.
