The itinerary

Day 01

Arusha to Lake Manyara Game Drive

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 9.00 am and meet your professional driver tour guide.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, about 135 km away.
Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Head to Endoro Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Maasai Boma Visit and Transfer to Serengeti

Wake up early at 6.00 am and have a cup of coffee.
Drive to Maasai Boma, where you will experience the rhythm of this nomadic tribe's daily life. Subject to the season, witness the livestock movement in the early morning before meeting the Elders, Moran warriors, women, and children, with full explanations of the status and ranking within the families and their traditions and beliefs.
Proceed back to the camp for a full breakfast.
After breakfast, go for a game drive with a picnic lunch to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The vast Serengeti plains are home to many animals and birds. Search among the trees and kopjes for elusive leopards, cheetahs, and the wildebeest migration.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 03

Sunrise and Full-Day Game Viewing in Serengeti

Wake up early in the morning and have a cup of coffee.
Proceed for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti with your Tanzania tour guide.
Return to the lodge for breakfast.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day game viewing with a picnic lunch in Serengeti. These plains are home to a huge variety of animals and birds. Search among the trees and kopjes for elusive leopards, cheetahs, and the wildebeest migration.

Day 04

Olduvai Gorge and Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After breakfast, enjoy game viewing en route with picnic lunches.
Visit the small but fascinating Dr Leakey Museum at Olduvai Gorge.
Ascend from the plains to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 05

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro and descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Spot the endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and other wild animals.
At Ngorongoro Crater Soda Lake, you will also see many species of birds, including flamingos. All these animals, in turn, support large predators such as lions and leopards, as well as scavengers such as hyenas and jackals.
In the late evening, drive back to Arusha.
