Sailing Out & Snorkeling Adventure
As we set sail across the blue waters of Banderas Bay, sit back, sip on a refreshing drink, and soak in the stunning views of Puerto Vallarta’s coastline and the Sierra Madre mountains. Feel the breeze as the crew hoists the sails (weather permitting) or cruises smoothly with the motor.
On the way to the Marietas Islands National Park, keep your eyes open for playful dolphins, sea turtles, and—during whale season (December to March)—the unforgettable sight of humpback whales breaching the surface.
Once we arrive, your guides will lead you into the crystal-clear waters for snorkeling. Discover vibrant schools of tropical fish, colorful coral formations, and the possibility of encountering marine life such as octopus, spotted rays, seahorses, and more. This underwater world offers a breathtaking glimpse into the diversity of the Pacific.
Whether you’re snorkeling, sightseeing, or simply enjoying the ride, this part of the journey promises a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
Beach Time & Island Exploration
After snorkeling, you’ll have time to relax and explore the wonders of the Marietas Islands National Park. Known for their untouched beauty and rich biodiversity, the islands offer something for every kind of traveler:
- Secluded Beaches – Unwind on soft sand and let the calm waters wash over your feet.
- Birdwatching Paradise – Home to over 100 species of birds, including rare and protected varieties like the Blue-footed Booby.
- Incredible Photo Opportunities – Capture the islands’ dramatic cliffs, hidden coves, mysterious caves, and unique rock formations.
Whether you prefer to swim in tranquil waters, explore nature’s hidden corners, or simply soak up the sun, the Marietas Islands create the perfect setting for both adventure and relaxation.
Don’t forget your camera—this is where many guests capture their most memorable shots of the day.
Sailing Back to Port
As the afternoon sets in, it’s time to begin the journey back across Banderas Bay. Relax on deck, sip a refreshing drink from the open bar, and let the warm breeze and rhythmic sway of the boat carry you home.
For those who love the thrill of sailing, the crew may hoist the sails (weather permitting), giving you a peaceful and authentic sailing experience as we glide over the sparkling Pacific.
Keep your eyes on the horizon—dolphins often play in the boat’s wake, sea turtles surface for air, and during whale season (December to March), you may be treated to one last unforgettable glimpse of a humpback whale before arriving back at the marina.
This relaxing return is the perfect way to reflect on your day of snorkeling, island exploration, and breathtaking scenery, leaving you with cherished memories of the Marietas Islands.
