The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Sigiriya Lion's Rock Fortress

You will be picked up by your Sri Lankan tour guide from Colombo International Airport or a pre-requested location in Negombo.
Transfer to Sigiriya.
En route, you may visit the Rock Cave Temple in Dambulla.
In the evening, visit the Lion's Rock Fortress in Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a palace on its peak.

Stay overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 02

Polonnaruwa Ruins and Minneriya Safari

After breakfast, head out to inspect the archaeological relics of Polonnaruwa, an ancient Sri Lankan kingdom.
Have lunch in Polonnaruwa.
Transfer to Minneriya National Park to explore this wild elephant paradise on an evening jeep safari.

Stay overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 03

Matale Temples and Cultural Kandy

After breakfast, head for Kandy.
En route, visit the Ceylon spice garden and Muththumari Amman Temple in Matale.
In the evening, explore the town of Kandy. Witness a cultural performance and the evening ceremony at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic alongside Kandy Lake.

Stay overnight in Kandy.

Day 04

Nuwara Eliya and Hill Country Landmarks

Have breakfast and head out for Nuwara Eliya, known as 'Little England'.
En route, visit a gem museum and factory, Ramboda Waterfall, and a tea factory.
In the evening, visit Gregory Lake, the Post Office, and Holy Trinity Church, which were graced by a visit from Queen Elizabeth during her 1954 official visit to Sri Lanka.

Stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 05

Kithulgala Adventure and Bentota Beach

After breakfast, head for the beaches of Bentota to relax.
En route, you can enjoy an adventurous white water rafting experience in Kithulgala.

Day 06

Madu River, Kosgoda Turtles, and Bentota Leisure

Go to Balapitiya for a magical boat ride down the beautiful Madu River.
After the boat ride, you can visit the sea turtle hatchery in Kosgoda to see the turtles at various life stages.
In the evening, relax on the beach or enjoy water activities in Bentota, such as flyfishing, riding a jet ski, wakeboarding, water skiing, a doughnut boat ride, and a banana boat ride. Your tour guide will make sure of your safety during these activities.

Day 07

Departure to Colombo or Negombo

After breakfast, you will be dropped off at the airport or at a pre-requested location in Colombo or Negombo, according to your departure time.
