Medieval Gdańsk Old Town Walking Tour

  • Meet your tour guide at the hotel or designated pickup location.

  • See the Upland Gate, the Golden Gate, and Dluga Street, where tenement houses once belonged to wealthy Gdańsk patrician families such as the Uphagen, Ferber, and Konnert-Schuman families.

  • Stroll past the Main Town Hall houses, which served as residences for Polish kings visiting Gdańsk, as well as Artus Court, the seat of various brotherhoods, including the Brotherhood of St. George, St. Christopher, and Dutch brotherhoods. Continue to Neptune's Fountain and the Green Gate.

  • Proceed to beautiful Mariacka Street with its fore-terraces. This cobbled lane is also known as Amber Street because it is lined with amber galleries and shops.

  • Visit St. Mary's Church, a unique Gothic brick church with many interiors dating from the XV-XVI centuries.

  • Marvel at the Old Crane, the largest crane in medieval Europe.

  • Walk along the banks of the Motława River and enjoy the view.

  • Later, return to your hotel to conclude the tour.
