Day 01

Northern Coast Highlights from Haifa to Caesarea

• Drive along the Way of the Sea (Via Maris) road to Haifa, the third biggest city in Israel and the country's main port, for a sweeping view of the city and the port. Visit the Bahai Shrine and gardens.

• Continue to Acre to see the Turkish old city and oriental market. You will also see the walls built by Al-G'ajar Pasha "The Butcher", the Caravan Serail Inn, Khan al Umdan, the Arab mosque, and the old fishermen's port.

• Proceed via Nahariya to Rosh Hanikra to visit the limestone grottos on the border with Lebanon.

• Return via Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital and port. Enjoy a walking tour of the theatre, archaeological ruins, and excavations.

• Return to Tel-Aviv.
