The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Delhi and Historic City Sightseeing

Arrive in Delhi and check into your hotel.
Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of historic monuments such as Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, and Parliament House.
In the evening, catch the sound and light show at the Red Fort, another important Mughal monument.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 02

Drive to Agra and Visit the Taj Mahal

After breakfast, drive 200 km to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal and one of the most popular destinations in the world.
Visit Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra en route to Agra.
Check into your hotel.
Proceed to the Taj Mahal with an Indian tour guide.
Explore Agra Fort, which was designed as a military base by Akbar.

Overnight in Agra.

Day 03

Travel to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast, drive 240 km to the Pink City of Jaipur via the imposing monument of Fatehpur Sikri.
Arrive in Jaipur and check into your hotel.
Go on a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur city. Visit Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and the bazaars of Jaipur for some excellent shopping.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 04

Amber Fort, Jaipur Shopping, and Chokhi Dhani

After breakfast, visit the old Rajput capital, Amber Fort, with your local tour guide. Take an elephant ride to the ramparts of the fort.
Catch up on your shopping and sightseeing in the city.
Have dinner at Chokhi Dhani, an open-air ethnic venue with folk dancers, musicians, and authentic Rajasthani cuisine.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 05

Departure or Rajasthan Extension

Return to Delhi or transfer to Jaipur airport and fly out to your next destination. Alternatively, you could extend your stay in Rajasthan by taking a trip to the wildlife sanctuaries at Sariska or Ranthambore, or by going on a camel safari in the Shekhawati region or at Jaisalmer.
