Day 01

Pekanbaru to Harau Valley Homestay Experience

06:45 - Get picked up from the hotel.
07:00 - Leave straight for Harau via Bukit Wisata (maximum 5 hours).
11:00 - Have lunch at Pak Lek Resto on the way and enjoy fresh fish and Padang food.
12:00 - Arrive at your homestay.
13:30 - Visit the waterfall and do easy trekking nearby.
16:30 - Return to the homestay and rest.
20:00 - Enjoy dinner in Payakumbuh and hunt for local food of your choice, such as beef satay or fried rice/noodles.

Overnight stay at the homestay.

Day 02

Caving and Cliff Trekking in Harau Valley

07:00 - Have coffee or tea at the homestay.
08:00 - Enjoy breakfast from the local menu, such as lontong, noodles, or fried rice.
09:00 - Get ready for caving and easy trekking to the top of the cliff through the forest.
12:00 - Eat lunch with the locals near the cave with your Indonesian tour guide.
16:00 - Return to the homestay and rest.

Day 03

Muara Takus and Pekanbaru City Sights

07:00 - Have coffee or tea at the homestay.
08:00 - Eat breakfast from the local menu, such as lontong, noodles, or fried rice.
08:30 - Prepare to check out.
09:00 - Get ready for the Muara Takus Temple trip (2 hours).
11:00 - Arrive at the temple.
11:40 - Leave for Pekanbaru.
12:30 - Stop for lunch by the lake for fish or chicken.
15:30 - See the Great Mosque of An-Nur, often called the Taj Mahal of Pekanbaru.
16:00 - Explore Pasar Bawah, Bukit Pelangi, and admire Lake Khayangan.
17:30 - Return to the hotel via the old and new Leighton Bridge.
