Day 01

Nagarkot Sunrise Hike to Changunarayan

• Early morning pickup from the hotel.
• Travel to Nagarkot to witness a beautiful sunrise, as the sun's rays touch the mountain peaks and create a panoramic glow. The view from Nagarkot offers Himalayan mountains such as Mount Everest, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himal, along with wonderful landscapes.
• After enjoying the sunrise from the top, it is time to stretch yourself for the downhill journey.
• Head to one of Nepal's World Heritage Sites: Changunarayan. During the descent, you will be able to enjoy views of small traditional villages, pine forests, and paddy terraces.
• After an expedition of around 4 hours (15 km) along a gravel road and passing typical Newari and Tamang houses, you will reach Changunarayan, a masterpiece at the top of a hill. Changunarayan Temple is the oldest temple in Nepal, with rich ancient architectural work typical of Nepal. You can find many sculptures and artworks of other deities surrounding it.
• After brief sightseeing, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
