Lake Sevan, Dilijan and Tbilisi City Discovery
- The excursion starts at 09:00 from the location you specified.
- We will make a short stop near the legendary Lake Sevan, the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the most visited attractions in Armenia. It is located in the Gegharkunik region, at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level. From the highway, an amazing view opens up, and you will have a chance to take beautiful photos.
- Then we will make another short stop in Dilijan. Dilijan is one of the resort and favorite tourist cities of Armenia. It is located in the Tavush region, in the valley of the Aghstev River, and is surrounded by amazing forests and clean air. The road to the city passes through a tunnel, at the beginning of which you will see one landscape, and at the end, a completely different, fabulous nature. There, we will see the famous monuments of Mimino and Swan Lake.
- Upon arrival in the beautiful capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, we will begin our walking tour. First, we will visit the old Holy Trinity Church. This beautiful church was constructed at the end of the Persian reign and for some years was the main church of Tbilisi. It is an ideal place for a first acquaintance with Georgian culture.
- After visiting the church, we will go to see the mighty National Assembly of Georgia and the main Rustaveli Avenue of Tbilisi.
- The next point of our walking tour will be Freedom Square, one of the favorite places for both tourists and Georgians. In the center of the square, the beautiful Monument of Freedom, created by the legendary architect Zurab Tsereteli, was erected in 2006. Near the square are also located the Central Bank, the Marriott Hotel, and the famous old Tbilisi, where you will have a great opportunity to take a walk, buy souvenirs, and enjoy a tasty lunch in a Georgian restaurant.
- After lunch, we will walk to explore the newly constructed Bridge of Peace, built over the great Kura River.
- Finally, the last point of our tour will be the lovely Tbilisi ropeway, which will take you to the Holy Hill, where the famous Mother Georgia monument and Narikala Fortress are located, and from where a fabulous view of Tbilisi opens up.
