Itinerary

1. Day 1- Tehran - South (Arrival)

   • Upon arrival at IKIA airport, set out to explore the bustling cosmopolitan capital of Tehran.

   • Start by the south side Iran National Museum, where Iran’s cultural treasures are kept and Golestan Palace (UWHS), one of Tehran's oldest building complexes and a masterpiece of the Qajar area, Jewelry Museum, Treasury of National Jewels housing an impressive array of treasures from the Safavid era.

2. Day 2- Tehran - Qazvin - Zanjan

   • Drive to Qazvin, an ancient capital in the Safavid dynasty.

   • Set out on half a day visiting the highlights of Qazvin City, including Chehl Sotun Palace, a Safavid pavilion located in Qazvin which stands amid gardens in the central square of the old city and in which the Qazvīn Museum is installed and Historical Bath (Hammam Qajar), was established in Qajar Era. 

   • Start to drive to Zanjan.

3. Day 3- Zanjan - Khalkhal

   • In the morning, visit Soltaniyeh Dome (UWH), the biggest brick dome in the world and the Mausoleum of Ilkhan Oljaytu, and Landry Museum (locally Rakht-Shouy Khaneh). 

   • Take the road to Khalkhal.

   Zanjan to Khalkhal (207 km)

4. DDay 4- Khalkhal

   • Driving towards the summer camp of Khalkhal, visiting the hazelnut forests and the beautiful plains, and getting to know Hircani Forests.

5. Day 5- Khalkhal - Meshkinshahr

   • Drive towards Meshkinshahr, which is Shahsavan nomads' place of living.

   • On the way, stop to visit Neor Lake, one of Iran’s lakes with a very high altitude from the sea.

   • Proceed to drive towards Yeri city, and visit a very old monument.

   Khalkhal to Meshkinshahr (217 km)

6. Day 6- Meshkinshahr - Nomad Stay

   • Start the safari towards Sabalan foothills and get to know Shahsavan Nomads' lifestyle hiking around the area.

7. Day 7- Nomad stay - (Shahsavan Nomads) - Tabriz

   • Spend the second exciting day next to Shahsavan People.

   • In the afternoon, drive to Tabriz.

8. Day 8- Tabriz

   • Embark on a city tour of Tabriz, one of the historical capitals of Iran with your Iran tour guide.

   • Visit the stunning Blue Mosque, known as Masjed-e Kabud in Farsi, which is one of the notable historic buildings scattered across the northwestern Iranian city of Tabriz. 

   • Azerbaijan Museum, you will find the archaeological department, which tells the story of Azerbaijan from the fifth century until the Sassanian Age.

   • Traditional Bazaar (Timcheh-e Mozaffariye) and Alishah Arg.

9. Day 9- Tabriz - End of the tour

   • Transfer to Tabriz International Airport and fly back home.
