Day 01

Amsterdam and Anne Frank's Story

  • Start your tour by exploring the intense history of the German occupation in Amsterdam.

  • Visit the Anne Frank House and the neighbourhood where she grew up in Amsterdam to hear her story.

  • Explore the German District and the Jewish Quarter, including the Holocaust Museum and the Synagogue.

Day 02

Westerbork Camp and Bergen Belsen

  • Visit Westerbork Camp, a transit camp where Jews from the Netherlands were taken before being transported to the East.

  • Drive to Bergen Belsen in Germany, where people were kept under the most horrendous circumstances. Anne and Margot Frank died here, among thousands of others. It is a beautiful but haunting site to visit.

Day 03

Berlin's World War II Sites

  • After a 3-hour drive, arrive in Berlin.

  • Visit World War II sites such as the Fuhrer bunker and the SS headquarters, while also enjoying the city and its nightlife.

Day 04

Journey East to Auschwitz

  • Drive further east to Auschwitz in Poland.

  • Take stops along the way at places significant to the World War II events that happened here.

Day 05

Auschwitz, Birkenau, and Krakow

  • Spend time visiting the massive sites of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

  • Start at the main camp, with its 'Arbeit Macht Frei' gate, and in the afternoon go to the Birkenau gas and work camp, where Jews, including Anne Frank, arrived for selection. Most of the camps remain in their original state, and visiting these haunted places is a life-changing experience.

  • Take a short drive to the astonishing city of Krakow and relax in this beautiful medieval city.

Day 06

Krakow's Jewish History and Prague

  • In the morning, visit the Jewish ghetto in Krakow and the nearby factory of Oskar Schindler, made famous by the film Schindler's List.

  • Go on a 4-5 hour drive to the fantastic city of Prague to spend the evening.

Day 07

Prague to Historic Nuremberg

  • Explore the city of Prague in the morning at your leisure.

  • After lunch, head to the German city of Nuremberg, an important city in Nazi Germany and the location of the famous Nuremberg Trials.

Day 08

Return to Amsterdam via Frankfurt

  • Drive back to Amsterdam.

  • Take a halt in Frankfurt to visit the birthplace of Anne Frank en route.
