Day 01

Sintra, Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca and Cascais

Start this tour at 08:30 a.m. Your Portugal tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and lead you on a full-day tour beginning in the charming village of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Visit Pena Palace, one of Portugal's finest tourist attractions and a magnificent example of 19th-century Portuguese Romanticism architecture.
Head to the historic village centre, where you can enjoy Sintra's stunning mountain landscapes, have free time to appreciate the medieval streets, and taste the deliciously sweet pastries.
After lunch, visit Sintra's National Palace, located in the village centre. Its most notable exterior feature is the two massive chimneys, which have become the icon of Sintra.
Go to the westernmost point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca. Depending on weather conditions, this visit may be replaced with Boca do Inferno, an impressive cliff near Cascais.
Proceed to Cascais, once the summer residence of the Portuguese royal family, with a beautiful coastline of glorious sandy beaches.
