Day 01

Arrival in Negombo and Dutch Fort Visit

  • On arrival, be welcomed by our tour representative and transfer to Negombo.
  • On your way to Negombo, observe the lifestyle of the Sri Lankan people. It may be a short distance, but you will learn a lot from it.
  • Once you reach the hotel, head to the beach and enjoy some fresh air.
  • Explore the Dutch Fort.
  • Relax for the rest of the day.

Day 02

Negombo to Dambulla via Pinnawala

  • After a delicious breakfast, proceed to Dambulla.
  • On your way to Dambulla, visit Pinnawala, one of the most important sites in Sri Lanka. It is renowned worldwide for the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which was established in 1975 with just seven elephant orphans.
  • Afterward, continue your journey to Dambulla.

Day 03

Explore Dambulla Rock Temple

  • In the morning, after enjoying breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Dambulla, famous for the Dambulla Rock Temple, which dates back to the 1st century BC. This temple was constructed by King Walagambahu and today stands as a renowned World Heritage Site.

Day 04

Journey to Trincomalee and Coastal Sights

  • In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Dambulla. After that, begin travelling to Trincomalee, which lies on the east coast and is popular for its mesmerizing deserted beaches. It also attracts many visitors for its exquisite natural harbour, considered one of the finest in the world. The quaint fishing village of Nilaveli, situated to the north of Trincomalee, is also counted among the best beaches in the country.
  • The serene and refreshing hot springs at Kanniyai are well known for their therapeutic qualities. In a specific season, you may also be amazed to see huge whales, along with other thrilling activities available here. The area is also home to the holy Koneswaram Temple, devoted to Lord Shiva, and the captivating Swamy Rock, famously called Lover's Leap. On reaching Trincomalee, the rest of the day will be free at leisure.

  • Visit Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts center, a gem museum, and a lapidary.
  • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
  • Thereafter, witness a cultural show.

Kandy to Beruwala for Water Sports

You will also see residential areas with the stately homes of the rich and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China.
