Embark on this short 3-day hike through Madagascar's famous trekking circuits in Andringitra National Park. Trek to Bôby Peak, the highest accessible summit in Madagascar, and follow the scenic circuits of Imarivolanitra, Diavolana, and Isahavato. Along the way, enjoy panoramic trails, lunar landscapes, and views over the Tsaranoro Valley and its rice fields. This trek also offers the chance to discover endemic fauna and flora, including chameleons, birds, and medicinal plants.

Day by day
Transfer from Ambalavao to Namoly with your Madagascar tour guide. Travel by 4x4 to the park entrance at 1,650 m altitude. The journey takes about 3 hours.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before starting the hike.
Begin the Imarivolanitra circuit with a 3-hour 30-minute hike to the base camp at 2,050 m. This section includes a moderately difficult ascent.
Leave the base camp and hike to the top of Bôby Peak at 2,658 m, the country's second-highest mountain after Tsaratanàna in the north, and the highest accessible summit in Madagascar.
After reaching the top, return to the base camp.
Continue on the Diavolana circuit to the next camp at Iantaranomby. This completes the second day of hiking.
Walk from the last camp to the village of Morarano via the Isahavato circuit. This final day is known for its long descent of about 2 hours and a half, beautifully decorated by the landscapes of the Tsaranoro Valley and the valley's rice fields.
At Morarano village, the car will be waiting to transfer you to Camp Catta or back to Ambalavao.
