Kakheti Wine Heritage, Signagi and Telavi
Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location in Tbilisi and set out on your Kakheti region tour. Kakheti is home to some of the oldest human habitations in the entire Caucasus region, and archaeological discoveries have shown that wine has been produced here for several thousand years.
Stop at the factory of Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking, one of the largest wine and spirits producing companies in Georgia and the Caucasus region. You can taste Georgian wine here.
Proceed to Badiauri, where you will get to taste delicious Georgian bread, cheese, and chacha.
Continue on a lovely trip to Signagi, one of the most beautiful towns in the area. Admire its quaint architecture, charming houses, cobblestone streets, defensive walls, and spectacular views of the Caucasus range. Sighnaghi was nicknamed 'the City of Love' for all the weddings it hosts.
Head to the nearby Bodbe Monastery. The area around the monastery is covered with beautiful flowers, bushes, and vineyards.
Stop at Winery Khareba. Take a walking tour with a local guide to learn more about the wine, and then enjoy a wine-tasting session.
Visit Kvareli Lake and relax by its beautiful shores.
Make your way to Telavi and visit the museum of Erekle II.
