10-Day Everest Base Camp Trek from Kathmandu via Lukla

• Take an early morning flight from the domestic terminal of the international airport in Kathmandu to Lukla. On the way, enjoy views of the breathtaking mountains.
• After landing in Lukla, take some rest and then head towards Phakding, following the Dudh Koshi River. Cross suspension bridges and see mani stones, prayer flags, and more along the way. On the first day of the trek, you will begin to see beautiful mountains such as Karyolung and Nupla. You will also stop several times for short tea breaks or a lunch break.

Spend the night in Phakding.

• On the second day, after breakfast, head towards Namche Bazaar with your Nepal trekking guide. The trail involves steep climbs and high steps through wild forests, crossing swaying bridges along the way.
• After a long day of hiking, you will reach Namche Bazaar, where you can view the golden mountains during sunset.

Spend the night in Namche Bazaar.

• On the third day of the trek, begin your journey with an early breakfast and continue along narrow trails with outstanding views of Mount Amadablam, Mount Tabuchi, Mount Thamserku, and more.
• After a few hours of walking, the trail will take you to the hilltop village of Tengboche.

• Begin trekking with gradual steep climbs through the rhododendron forests on the fourth day.
• After passing countless mani stones, you will reach Pangboche.
• The trail then ascends to Dingboche, where you will spend the night. On the way to Dingboche, you will see many yaks grazing over the pasture slopes of the cliffs. The fantastic views of Mountain Lhotse, Amadablam, and Taboche will be beyond your expectations.

• On the fifth day of the trek, the trail leads through a gentle uphill climb, and after crossing the suspension bridge to Thukla, a steep hike takes you to the Lobuche Pass. You will see various colourful flags, Khagan Chorten, and a cemetery ground with hundreds of memorials to people who died on the mountain. Lobuche also offers some breathtaking mountain views.

Overnight stay at Lobuche.

• On the sixth day, you will finally reach the base camp, a moment that will make you feel proud and excited to be so close to the top of the world. The trail is a mix of gentle ups and downs. After breakfast, first head towards Gorakshep along wide trails with views of the Khumbu Glacier and surrounding mountains.
• After reaching Gorakshep, take some rest and then continue towards Everest Base Camp. From there, you can view Mount Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Khumbutse, and Mt. Lingtren.
• After enjoying beautiful moments at Everest Base Camp, return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.

• Early in the morning on the seventh day, hike to Kala Patthar.
• After reaching the top, enjoy panoramic mountain views along with the Khumbu Glacier.
• Once you are done admiring the mountains, trek back to Gorak Shep and then descend to Pheriche.

Spend the night in Pheriche.

• On the eighth day, trek back to Namche Bazaar. You will stop at different places for short tea breaks and a lunch break.
• Continue passing mani stones and stupas before reaching Namche Bazaar, where you will stay for the night.

• Trek back down to Lukla.

Overnight stay at Lukla.

• On the last day of the trip, take a beautiful flight back to Kathmandu.

• After reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your respective hotel, and the tour will officially end.
