Description

Embark on this short 3-day tour to venture into the famous crater highlands of Ngorongoro, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Also, explore Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks and spot a number of animals like elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelope and hippos, along with birdlife such as pink flamingos.

Itinerary

Day 1- Arusha/Moshi - Lake Manyara National Park
- Meet your professional Tanzania guide/driver for a short briefing about the safari in the morning.
- After that, drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
- Spend a few hours in the park and see elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, hippos and flamingos (in the hippo pool) and other animals. There are also climbing lions in Lake Manyara though they are rare to see. Boxed lunch will be provided and around 4 pm.
- Drive to your accommodation where you will have your dinner in the evening.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Day 2- Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater
- Depart for Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing with picnic lunch.
- Explore the crater which is famous for its great concentration of wildlife including buffalo, lion, zebra, elephant, hippos, leopard, rhinos and many others.
- Drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay around 5 pm.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 3- Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire - Arusha/Moshi
- Drive to Tarangire, a large park famous for its baobab trees and many animals, including lions, large groups of elephants, giraffes, leopards and cheetah. Boxed lunch will be provided.
- Depart for Arusha/Moshi in the late afternoon.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch included.

Lake Manyara National Park is a protected area in Tanzania's Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. This park covers an area of 325 km2 (125 sq mi), including about 230 km2 (89 sq mi) lake surface. Lake Manyara National Park is worth a stop in its own right. Its groundwater forests, bush plains, baobab strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area rich in wildlife and significant numbers of birds.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as an 'eighth wonder of the world', the Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year. There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro! You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed excellent wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment.
