Embark on a 9-day safari through Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi National Park, and Ruaha National Park to explore some of Tanzania's major wildlife areas. Enjoy exciting game drives in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, impalas, eland antelopes, elephants, and numerous bird species. The journey also includes an evening boat safari at Selous and a walking safari in Ruaha, with accommodation and meals as per the itinerary.

Day by day
After breakfast and an introduction from our staff, you will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve, a journey of almost 218.6 km that takes approximately 6 hours.
Arrive at Hippo Camp in time for lunch.
In the evening, enjoy a boat safari with your Tanzania tour guide/driver.
Overnight at Hippo Camp.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive inside the reserve with lunch boxes provided. Look out for excellent animal sightings, including favourites such as lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and zebra, as well as other major species like hunting dogs and birds in the afternoon after lunch.
Continue with the game drive until evening.
Overnight at Hippo Camp.
After breakfast, drive to Mikumi National Park with your lunch boxes. The journey takes about 5 hours.
Arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a game drive inside Mikumi Park, where you may see a wide variety of bird species, as well as zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo, and elephants.
Overnight at Tanswiss Lodge.
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park. You will have a picnic lunch at midday and get the chance to see some of what you may have missed on your first day in the park.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After an early breakfast, drive from Mikumi Park to Ruaha National Park, covering 274 km with lunch boxes via Iringa town. Along the way, you will pass through the countryside and enjoy lovely scenery, beautiful valleys, and mountains.
Upon arrival, visit the museum in Iringa town, which holds the head of the great local chief Mkwawa, who resisted the Germans.
Continue to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. Take in beautiful views of the Ruaha River valley and look for excellent wildlife sightings, including kudu, wildebeests, elephants, zebra, lions, hippos, hartebeest, impala, antelope, giraffe, buffalo, and many more.
Overnight at Hilltop Lodge.
Enjoy another full day in Ruaha with packed lunch boxes. Take a half-day game drive, and after lunch in the late afternoon, set out on a 3-hour walking tour.
Overnight at the lodge.
Enjoy another full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes. Spend your last day discovering and exploring Ruaha National Park.
Overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, with your lunch boxes, drive back to Dar es Salaam. The journey takes about 8 hours.
