  • The Kruger Park Lodge Golf Course, designed by Gary Player in 1992, offers nine holes (18 tees), Par 72, 6100 m (5152 m for ladies), and has a difficulty rating of 3 out of 5. This attractive course has numerous water features that regularly attract hippos and abundant birdlife. Impala antelope can roam freely.

  • The course is a Par 72, 5950 m (5059 m for ladies), and offers the pleasure of challenge and adventure. The rich wildlife sanctuary surrounding the golf course is home to the Big 5, a wide variety of birds, and countless animals, all conspiring to provide visitors with a pleasant close-to-nature golfing experience. The course is not fenced in, and uninvited spectators are a common sight: hippo, impala, warthog, leopard, and baboons, to mention but a few.

  • The Komatipoort golf course is unique in many ways, as it was mainly built and designed by dedicated farmers of the area, together with the expert advice of Douw van der Merwe.

  • Elephant, buffalo, and hippopotamus are often seen in the river during play.

  • "Innovative architectural and landscaping techniques ensure that the Leopard Creek golf course and living areas are naturally protected from animals, while lakes and small streams have been diverted through the development to create scenic vistas and interesting golf strategies.

  • Golfing hazards take on a new dimension at Leopard Creek, for much of the water is home to the magnificent creatures for which the river is named: crocodiles. Extensive use has been made of water features, and sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo, and wild boar are commonplace, either on the course itself or in or next to the river running alongside several holes.

  • The 505-meter par-five 13th is one of Leopard Creek's most memorable holes. Here, the green is right on the edge of the Crocodile River but 32 meters above the water level, offering magnificent views up the river and into Kruger Park. Gary Player is incredibly proud of the par-five 18th with its island green and the par-four 9th with its peninsula green jutting out of the same body of water.
