Day 01

Airport Arrival and Transfer to Negombo

  • Pick up at the airport and transfer to Negombo with your Sri Lankan guide.

Travel to Dambulla and Visit the Rock Temple

  • Visit Dambulla, famous for the Dambulla Rock Temple, a renowned World Heritage Site.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress Exploration

  • Climb Sigiriya rock fortress, which is also a World Heritage Site. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens, including the renowned water gardens, ring the base of the rock.
  • Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the "Heavenly Maidens" of Sigiriya, located in a protected pocket of the rock and approached by a curved stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster.

Journey to Kandy and Cultural Discoveries

  • Explore the colorful Pettah bazaar, where you can shop for bargains, as well as a Hindu temple, a Buddhist temple, residential areas with stately homes of the wealthy, and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).
