The itinerary

Day 01

Zhujiajiao Water Town, Jade Buddha Temple and Museum Tour

Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Shanghai at 9:00 AM and make your way to Zhujiajiao Water Town by metro.
Explore Zhujiajiao, a historic water town, through its many canals and narrow streets. Entry to the town is free, but you will need to buy tickets for any attractions you choose to visit.
After lunch, travel back to Shanghai at 1:30 PM.
In the afternoon, visit the Jade Buddha Temple (fee: 30 yuan per person). You will see Buddhist monks living an austere monastic life and marvel at the beautiful Buddha statues.
Explore the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum. During World War II, many Jewish refugees came to Shanghai for shelter and stayed in the Hongkou district, in the old Ohel Moshe Synagogue. This museum will help you understand their history.
Head back to your hotel at 5:30 PM.
