Itinerary

1. Day 1: Sightseeing in Tbilisi

   • Meet the guide and driver at the airport and transfer to the hotel. 

   • Start your tour in Tbilisi and Mtskheta. 

   • Take a walking tour of Tbilisi's most significant landmark places, such as the Narikala Fortress, Bridge of Peace, Riye Park, old Tbilisi, sulfur baths, Metekhi Church, National Botanical Garden of Georgi, Statue of Mother of Georgia. 

   • Visit Mtskheta. Go to the Jvari Church (6th-7th cc) and enjoy views from the church that towers over the city of Mtskheta. 

   • Continue to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, known as the burial site of Christ's robe and the second-largest church building in the country.

   • Take a break and taste some Georgian traditional food. 

   • Come back to Tbilisi for drop-off at the hotel.

2. Day 2: Tbilisi to Kazbegi

   • Depart from Tbilisi early in the morning to Kazbegi -100 miles (160 km) along the Georgian Military Road, which runs between Tbilisi, Georgia and Vladikavkaz, Russia. 

   • See the Ananuri Fortress, a sixteenth-century castle complex on the Aragvi River that stands beside the famous Georgian Military Highway, overlooking a large Jinvali lake. 

   • Visit Gudauri, a remarkable ski resort in Georgia situated at an altitude of 7217 feet (2200 meters) above sea level. 

   • Continue the trip to Gergeti Trinity Church. At an altitude of 7119 feet (2,170 meters), the twelfth or thirteenth-century monument was erected on the southern slopes of Mkinvarcveri. 

   • Drive to the hotel.

3. Day 3: Sightseeing in Kakheti

   • Be picked up from your hotel at 10:00 am.

   • Visit the Bodbe Monastery, a  major pilgrimage site in Georgia, due to its association with St. Nino, the 4th-century female evangelist, whose relics shrine there.

   • Arrive at Sighnaghi town, an old trading town with a 17th-century defensive wall around it. Cobbled streets and terracotta tile-roofed homes with colourfully carved balconies and magnificent views of the Alazani Valley give it a very charming character.

   • Drive to Tbilisi and be dropped back at your hotel.

4. Day 4: Departure

   • Enjoy some free time at your hotel or explore the city at your leisure.

   • Afterwards, get a departure transfer to the airport.
