Muiden Castle and Historic Naarden

Meet your tour guide and get picked up from your accommodation in an air-conditioned minivan.
Head straight to Muiden Castle and walk to the castle. Learn about its huge collections of armour and weapons, along with other facts about its history, including how it was once used as a prison.
Drive to the historic city of Naarden, take a short walk, and enjoy free time in the city. Naarden was granted city rights in 1300, making it the only town in the Gooi with these rights, and later developed into a fortified garrison town with a textile industry.
