Embark on a 3-day safari to Ruaha National Park, known for its rich variety of wildlife and birdlife. Day by day
At 05:30 hours, you will be picked up from your residence in Morogoro, or at 08:30 hours if your accommodation is in Iringa.
Drive to Ruaha National Park.
Upon arrival at the park, check in and refresh at your accommodation.
Go for evening and sunset game drives.
Leave at 06:30 hours for sunrise game drives.
Have breakfast within the park.
Continue with a game drive while searching for wild animals around different park locations until the lunch break.
After lunch and a short rest within the park, continue with the game drive until around 18:30 hours, marking the end of a full day of game drives. Animals that you can expect to see include, but are not limited to, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, warthogs, elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, and different plant and reptile species.
Enjoy birdwatching. Ruaha National Park is inhabited by over 450 different bird species, including some endemics such as the Ashy starling and the Yellow-collared Lovebird. Resident birds of Ruaha National Park include the Crested Barbet, Dickinson's kestrel, Pale-billed Hornbill, Violet-crested turaco, Racket-tailed roller, plovers, kingfishers, hornbills, green-wood hoopoes, sunbirds, bee-eaters, and egrets.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Park Bandas.
Early in the morning, leave for sunrise game drives before having breakfast.
After the game drives, return to Morogoro with a lunch stop in Iringa.
When you arrive in Morogoro or Iringa town, you will be dropped off at your residence, marking the end of the 3-day safari.

Ruaha National Park is visited by Eurasian migrants twice a year - from October to November and from March to April. Among the migrants in Ruaha National Park, you can see the Sooty Falcon, whose breeding grounds are in the Sahara and the Middle East, and Eleonora's Falcon, whose breeding grounds are in the Mediterranean.
The park is also inhabited by birds of prey such as Pel's fishing owl, the African hawk, the Bateleur, and eagles such as the Long-crested, Martial, and Snake-eagles.
