Starting in the village of Douliana, you’ll follow an easy route through beautiful natural scenery toward Almyrida, with mountain views to the south, sea views to the north, and plenty of local flora and fauna to admire along the way.

During the walk, you’ll pass the peaceful church of Agios Ioannis and enjoy time to take in the landscapes and capture memorable photos. Once in Almyrida, there is time to swim in the clear waters of Chania’s north coast before continuing to the traditional village of Fres for a Cretan lunch at a local kafeneio.
