Description
Explore Petra or Raqmu, a famous archaeological site in Jordan's southwestern desert. Drive on the Kings Highway and enjoy views of Petra Mountain and the Araba desert. Petra highlights
Pick up from the port, airport, border, or hotel.
Drive on the Kings' highway, and view Petra mountain and the Araba mountains.
Arrive at Petra visitor center, and meet your guide.
Walk through the gate on your way down to Siq (narrow gorge), and see the Dijon blocks and the Big monument of Obelisks tomb.
Continue down through Facades Street or facade to see tombs of different sizes and also the steps leading to the high place of sacrifice.
See the main theatre of Petra carved out of rocks while on the other side you will see caves carved out of rocks with their colorful ceilings.
Marvel at the Collection of Royal Tombs which could be one of the hiking options on the way back.
Find yourself in the Roman area which includes Nephewuim, colonnaded streets, and remains of temples beside Byzantine churches.
Enjoy lunch in a restaurant.
Return to Aqaba to your hotel, border, airport, or port.
