Acre Old City Heritage Tour to Tiberias

- Napoleon Hill: We will start our tour overlooking the old city from the hill on which Napoleon's army once stood and fired at the ancient city. We will get the big picture of how and when the city of Acre became so prominent in Israel's history.
- Visitor Center - Knight's Halls: Beneath our feet still lies the old Crusader capital of Acre. We will hear about the different orders of the Crusader army, walk through their streets, and experience their fantastic architecture.
- Walls of the Old City: Walk on the city walls, which help unfold the story of Napoleon's great defeat in Acre.
- El-Jazar's Mosque and Turkish Bazaar: Jumping to the Ottoman period, we will hear about the ancient relic still lying in the most prominent mosque of Acre. On a walk through the Turkish bazaar, we will see local artists and bond with the locals.
- The Marketplace: Amazing colours, scents, and tastes will lead us to the marketplace. There, we will learn how to bargain, trade, and look for the best goods. It is also time for the famous hummus meal during our lunch break.
- Pillars' Inn: This beautiful seamen's inn lies right by the port and holds one of six unique clock towers in Israel. The mark of the Sultan tells the story of the whole Ottoman Empire. The great granite pillars hold a hidden bond to the Crusaders who once ruled the city.
- Crusader's Tunnel: Learn about the contingency plan formed by the mighty Knights Templars in Acre. They built a secret underground escape tunnel from the keep to their private port. We will tread in their wake, exploring the secrets of the tunnels.
- Merchants Inn: We will finish our tour at the beautiful Merchants Inn. Now flourishing with restaurants, its walls hold the secret plan of the Jewish advisor who came up with the means to defeat Napoleon's army and change Israel's history forever.
