Day 01

Drive from Islamabad to Naran/Kaghan

Drive from Islamabad to Naran/Kaghan via Abbottabad.
Enjoy a scenic journey through these beautiful valleys.

Overnight stay at Mansehra or Balakot.

Day 02

Journey to Skardu via Babusar Pass

The second day is a long drive to Skardu, passing through majestic valleys along the way.
Travel parallel to Lulusar Lake, your next stop on the route.
Continue to Babusar Pass for a short rest, with time for photography and to witness the surreal beauty of one of the highest passes in the world.
After crossing Babusar Pass into Diamer District, enjoy the amazing sightseeing before reaching the Karakoram Highway a couple of hours later.
The highway leads to Alam Bridge, the starting point of the Skardu Road.
From Alam Bridge, continue along the Skardu Road, which runs beside the Indus River.

Overnight stay in Skardu.

Day 03

Enter Deosai National Park and Camp at Bara Pani

Your Deosai National Park tour begins on the third day.
Drive towards the Deosai Plains via Sadpara Lake and Sadpara village.
Spend the first night camping at Bara Pani in Deosai.

Day 04

Full Day of Activities on the Deosai Plains

This day is reserved for fun activities including fishing, camping, BBQ, hiking, and photography at sunrise and sunset.
Spend another night camping at Bara Pani in Deosai National Park.

Day 05

Return to Skardu and Sightseeing Around Town

Drive back to Skardu town for lunch.

After lunch, there are many sightseeing options, including Shangrila Resort, Kharpocho Fort, and the Shigar Desert.

Drive from Skardu to Naran/Besham

Also known as the Land of Giants, the Deosai Plains provide the perfect environment for camping.
The average height is 4,000 m, and the area is covered with lush green grass, streams, mountains, and more.
The park is located at the western end of the Himalayas, on the boundary with the Karakoram. Deosai National Park is snow-covered for seven months. The best time to visit the park is between July and September, when the snow has melted enough to make the area green. The natural environment is also made up of hundreds of varieties of beautiful flowers in all colours and hues.
