6-Day Namibia Desert and Safari Tour with Sossusvlei and Etosha

• Meet your tour guide after breakfast in Windhoek, with pickup from your hotel or guesthouse, and travel south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass.
• Stop at a viewpoint to appreciate the endless views of the Namib, and enjoy lunch at the Solitaire oasis.
• Arrive at the lodge or campsite around three to four in the afternoon, where dinner will be served.

• Visit the Sesriem Gate early in the morning.
• Begin by climbing the picturesque Dune 45 and experience the beauty and vastness of the orange-coloured landscape. Then take a 5 km off-road drive to Dead Vlei, a vast desert pan where dried-up ancient acacias stand silent in an impressive open-air gallery.
• Take on the climb up one of the highest dunes, Big Dad or "Big Mama" (optional). From here, enjoy incredible 360-degree panoramic views of the "Sea of Sand." Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are considered among the most photogenic and most photographed places on Earth.
• Look out for occasional wildlife along the way, including ostriches, oryx, bat-eared foxes, springboks, cheetahs, and various birds that inhabit the desert.
• Spend the afternoon resting and relaxing in the quiet atmosphere of the Namib.

• Have breakfast, check out, and return to Windhoek through the beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass.
• Make a stopover at Solitaire and arrive back in Windhoek in the afternoon.
• After drop-off at your lodge, join an afternoon game drive at Gocheganas Lodge in their safari vehicle.

• Stop for a lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo and have lunch.
• Continue your drive into Etosha National Park for a game drive. A good night's rest will be needed so you can wake up early, refreshed, and ready for your next adventure.

• Join a morning game drive with the Namibia Wildlife Resort (NWR) Game Viewer in an open vehicle.
• Return for breakfast after the morning drive. After breakfast, head out for a three-hour game drive with an NTTS vehicle.
• After lunch and some time to rest and relax, visit the last waterhole in the afternoon for one final appreciation of Namibia's beauty.
• Head back to the lodge for dinner before sunset, where you can share stories from the day and compare your beautiful photos.

• Make your last stop in the small town of Okahandja, home to Namibia's largest wood carving market.
