The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Windhoek

Meet your tour guide at Hosea Kutako International Airport and transfer to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia.
After your long journey, you will be dropped off at Windhoek West Guest House.

Day 02

Windhoek to Sossusvlei via Spreetshoogte Pass

Have breakfast and depart from Windhoek West Guest House, heading south to the world-famous Sossusvlei via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass.
Stop at a viewpoint to appreciate the endless views of the Namib Desert, and enjoy lunch at the Solitaire oasis.
Arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm, where dinner will be served.

Day 03

Sunrise at Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon

Start early to catch the soft sunrise light over the Namib Desert. Pass through Sesriem and continue towards Sossusvlei, with sand dunes rising on either side of the road.
Stop at the famous Dune 45. After breakfast, take a walk in the Namib Desert during the cool morning hours.
In the afternoon, go on a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon.

Day 04

Namib-Naukluft Park to Swakopmund via Walvis Bay

Cross the Tropic of Capricorn and travel through the Gaub and Kuiseb Passes.
Stop at Walvis Bay to enjoy views of flamingos and other birds, and visit the salt works.
Stay overnight in Swakopmund. Dinner tonight is at the client's own expense in a local restaurant.

Day 05

Swakopmund to Etosha National Park

Travel to Etosha National Park, stopping in Usakos to refuel along the way.
Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and arrive at Etosha Safari Lodge in the afternoon.

Day 06

Full-Day Game Drive in Etosha National Park

Have breakfast and begin a full-day game drive in Etosha National Park. The early morning hours offer magnificent opportunities for exploration as you visit the waterholes.
Visit the Etosha Pan before continuing your game drive across the park in search of the "Big 4" and other animal species. A light lunch will be provided at Okaukuejo/Halali along the way.

Day 07

Etosha to Windhoek via Okahandja

Prepare for the long but scenic journey back to Windhoek.
Pass through towns and rural areas, stopping at the small town of Okahandja, home to Namibia's largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs.
Arrive in Windhoek in the late afternoon or early evening.
