Teotihuacán Pyramids and Colonial Convents
- Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Mexico at 7:30 am.
- Start the tour by visiting the archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, the most important metropolis of the Mesoamerican Classic and home to the first Quetzalcoatl temple.
- Explore the Great Pyramid of the Sun.
- Walk along the main avenue of these ruins, the Street of the Dead, where you will see temples and murals about 2,000 years old. This same road will take you to the Plaza de la Luna, where you can climb the Pyramid of the Moon.
- Head to the Courtyard of the Jaguars and the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl.
- Stop at a workshop and see locals working with cactus, stones, and fibres. (Optional)
- Taste the traditional Mexican beverage "Pulque".
- Take a lunch break.
- Visit the mini convent of San Nicolas Oxtotipac and the huge convent of San Agustin Acolman.
- Return to the hotel at the end of the tour.
