  • Meet your tour guide at an agreed-upon location in Tbilisi and depart for the David Gareja Monastery Complex.
  • On the way, see herds of sheep.
  • Explore the David Gareja Monastery Complex. This cave complex is located in Gare Kakheti and stretches for 25 km along the semi-desert slopes of the Gareji Ridge.
  • The complex consists of hundreds of premises - temples, cells, warehouses, rooms, and more - carved into the rock. It includes about 20 monasteries located on a mountain ridge.
  • At the top of the ridge, climb at least one of the monasteries and witness the spectacular landscape. The main attraction of the ridge is a trail that runs along the border of Georgia and Azerbaijan.
