The itinerary

Day 01

Melbourne to Apollo Bay via Great Ocean Road

You will be picked up from your hotel in Melbourne in the morning and begin the tour.
Drive west towards Geelong before turning onto the Great Ocean Road. Marvel at the rugged cliffs shaped by millions of years of erosion.
Stop in the seaside town of Lorne for lunch. Then enjoy a pleasant stroll through Great Otway National Park to see Phantom Falls on a 75-minute return walk.
Enjoy the opportunity to see some of the beautiful wildlife at Kennett River, home to many koalas.
Continue your drive along the coast and stop for a photo opportunity at Mount Defiance Lookout.
Arrive at your accommodation in Apollo Bay at about 5 pm.

Day 02

Apollo Bay to Port Campbell and Melbourne

After an early breakfast, head out to beat the tour buses to the Shipwreck Coast for views of the Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and London Bridge.
Spend time walking along the beach to truly appreciate the force of the Southern Ocean.
After lunch at Port Campbell, drive back to Melbourne via the inland route.
